♫ Childhood best friend until he was 14 was William Sloan ( williamsloan ) who moved to England when she was 14, but soon came back. Those two have a tight bond that's completely unbreakable.
♪ Another good friend of hers is Owen Martin ( owenmartin ) who is just as crazy and loud as she is.
♫ Won the Best Undiscovered Artist Moon Man at the MTV VMAs '09, but declined to take the contract, giving it to her friend and co-nominee, Maddiline Webster so she could focus on school.
♪ On 12/14/09 at the local Jingle Ball, during her set, Tyler Reckson came out to get her on the phone with none other than DJ Martin, head of Seven Shot Records. DJ had a contract with her name on it - she accepted.
♫ On 1/16/10 in Burlington, Vermont, Austin abruptly tweeted at Shane Orrion ( orrion ), whom she had been seriously dating since the beginning of September the year before, and proposed marriage right then and there. Shane said yes. They later got married in Vermont in front of the bunch of their friends that had gone with them to Vermont.
♪ As of 5/28/10, Austin has released an album that has produced it's first single, "Ignorance", the second being "The Only Exception", and instead of using her name, she and her band mates came up with the name "R!OT", inspired by November Dream's song "Riot". The album has been and currently is doing very well on the billboard charts. R!OT joined Necromance, Orrion, and Waking Midnight on a summer tour before joining Razorblade Rebellion and a couple of other bands for an overseas tour. R!OT will be joining six other artist from Seven Shot Records on the "Big 7" tour later this year.
♫ Found herself in the middle of petty controversy when a photo of her, topless, taken by Shane for his own personal use, was found on the internet after they were hacked. No one knows who started it, but it's lead to a lot of problems for Austin that she's trying to shake off.
